Tourism Working Group B Meeting Progress Under the framework of the Government-Private Sector Forum (GPSF), a meeting was held under the high presidency of His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and Oknha Luu Meng, Private Sector Co-Chair of Working Group 'B' representing the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, to review progress and address emerging challenges raised by the tourism private sector.

Discussion Meeting with Airlines
(Phnom Penh) — On Wednesday, 19 August 2026, H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism and Government Co-Chair of Working Group “B” on Tourism, chaired a discussion with airlines, joined by myself as Private Sector Co-Chair, key members of CCC and CTF, business associations in tourism, representatives from the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, Airlines, Chambers, Associations and Other Stakeholders. The meeting focused on the private sector’s proposal to establish a National High-Level Taskforce for the Recovery of Aviation and Tourism, along with practical measures to strengthen air connectivity, tourism growth and Cambodia’s international reputation. According to the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, 34 airlines currently operate in Cambodia. Between 2024 and 2025, passenger traffic increased by 12%, flights by 11%, and air cargo by 21%. The meeting concluded with positive understanding, strong cooperation and constructive outcomes.
